Default Some Funny Noises - Concerning? (audio clips)

The first clip was recorded during brisk acceleration in 2nd gear.
Although somewhat difficult to hear over the wind noise, you'll notice a brief squeal right before I shift into third.

The second clip was recorded at a stoplight this morning, while the car was at rest.

The acceleration squeal has almost always been present, unless it is very warm outside (hot summer day).
I don't always push it hard enough to hear it, but when I do, it's there.
The second noise has only developed this winter. Usually it occurs only briefly, and only when I come to my first leisurely stop at the end of my street. Today was the first time that it's occurred for a prolonged period, and while the car was warm (I'd already been driving about ten minutes at that point).

So, what do you think ladies & gents?
Cause for concern?
Not a big deal?

I should note that the dealership techs checked the belts and tensioners recently, apparently everything looked fine.

It is very hard to say without being there in person. Google/ YouTube supercharger prop shaft bearing / isolators faults and see if it’s a match? The belt squeak could be several things, need a new belt, tensioner, or it’s wet, damp or dirty. What motor and miles on your cat?

I have read it occurs more often when the temps are very cold outside which causes the isolator to fail or chatter.

best of luck

I had this same issue. Belt looked fine, plenty of tension. No issue initially when warm out, only when temps got below 70 degF, but issue eventually got worse extending into warm weather. Belt needs replacing.

It could also be the tensioner pulley locking up or squealing. I'd replace the pulley and the belt.

It could also be the tensioner pulley locking up or squealing. I'd replace the pulley and the belt. It's no big deal to DIY. The pulley is probably all you need, not the tensioner arm but they are often sold together for a couple hundred bucks. If you have another car you can remove the tensioner w/pulley attached and ask your local Autozone guys to let you dig through all of their pulleys to find a close match. They have hundreds in stock. The match only has to be the right offset with respect to the hub, so the belt lines up with the other pulleys. The diameter is not so important because its a tensioner and the spring will tighten the belt. A new pulley will only cost a few bucks.

I couldn't hear the squeak in the shift mp3 on my phone.
