I am looking to replace the chrome side vents on my 2016 F-Type with a set of gloss black vents. Unfortunately, the right side vent (T2R15225) is on back order from Jaguar with no ETA.

I can get a left side vent from my usual mail order Jaguar parts supplier, but I have had no luck finding a new right vent. There are a couple of right vents on EBay, but they are not in the greatest condition.

Does anybody happen to know of a right side gloss black vent that’s in stock? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Have you considered removing them and having a paint shop change them from silver to gloss black? I had my hood vents removed and painted on my last two F-Types and it's a simple process and may cost less than purchasing two new side vents.

 

I have, and that may end up being the route I take. I’ll also need to paint or wrap the chrome finish on the grill bezel and (most likely) the trim around the door glass as well.

If I end up painting the side vents, I may paint them, the grill bezel, and the hood vents Italian Racing Red to match the body color.

You might find all of those bits on eBay in Carbon Fiber...

 

I placed my order with Harper Jaguar. Unfortunately, they were the ones who told me the right vent was on back-order.

I'll keep looking. You never know what my pop up on Ebay.

 

I wrapped mine in gloss black film. It was a bit tricky but not too bad.

Those are aftermarket covers for the OEM Jaguar vents. I wasn't really looking for those.

However, I followed your link to Ebay and made another search for the OEM vents. Low and behold I found a pair of OEM Jaguar gloss black vents that look to be in excellent condition. I was able to pick them up for just over $200 to my door. So, thanks for the link that enabled me to find what I was looking for!

I believe I have two original gloss black from my 2018 R that I had switched to carbon fiber. let me know if interested and can dig them up from my closet of parts lol.
