Sport + Dynamic Mode
Curious about how often you guys drive in Regular Mode, Sport Mode, Dynamic Mode or Sport+Dynamic?
What's your preference
And, do you use the Paddle shifting or the Manual Stick in Sport.
Will Driving in Sport + Dynamic all the time wear on the engine

I'm probably in Dynamic 90% of the time. I only use S + D if I'm somewhere where manual shifting is fun, i.e. not on my daily commute. I use regular for long highway cruises - steering is a bit lighter/less fatiguing, and it gets slightly better mileage.
Never use sport mode without dynamic. I have the paddle shifters set so they only work in sport or sport+dynamic, so I can't accidentally hit them during normal driving.

Almost always use dynamic mode (because it defeats the eco start/stop ) and the rest of the time is spent in sport + dynamic. I like sport mode because it always keeps the transmission at least one gear lower. It makes the car more fun to drive and the exhaust sounds even better (more pops and crackle).
This engine wear is directly related to RPM. So if your sitting at 6500rpm everywhere it will wear quicker, but I'd not worry as Jaguar over-engineered the engine/SC on these cars and run them rather de-tuned compared to how they tested them in house.
You will cause more wear to the engine by driving hard whilst cold or not keeping the oil level close to maximum, that is far more important.
Also due to the torque of the engine, I find myself typically pulling the paddles around 5500-6000rpm anyway, does not seem much benefit to revving it out though it will pull to the limiter with no fuss.
I wonder why they did not disable eco-mode on the manual transmission when it’s in dynamic. It is however disabled when the climate package is not on auto.

I never use S because I don't trust myself to intuitively remember forward is -, and back is +. I have used paddles for long enough that I can use them intuitively and have learned how to keep my hands properly placed on the wheel. I have a Volvo VR is storage that has a Geartronic transmission and as I recall it has the opposite pattern in S. Going between different cars you lose your muscle memory as to what to do.
Mainly regular when I am in traffic unless I am wanting to hear the cackle in which case I use dynamic or sport. I prefer sport to dynamic unless the road is really smooth - the ride in dynamic is a bit hard on subpar roads.
Sport + dynamic rarely but it make a big difference I think.
I use the paddles often, but probably only 10% of my total driving time if that. I'd love a gated shifter (i.e. with a manual pattern) and if I had one I'd use it instead of paddles, but the tipping forward and backward doesnt really float my boat.

Bruce, if you find the ride in dynamic mode to be a bit harsh (I do as well), why not configure dynamic mode via Dynamic-i (aka Configurable Dynamics) so that the suspension setting in dynamic mode is "normal" rather then "dynamic"?
That's what I did ages ago and it works a treat (all of the other three settings I left as "dynamic").

Mine hasnt got it enabled but I just saw your previous thread about it - I wonder whether anyone on the Gold Coast can weave Cambo's magic?

With a base model...you use Sport, Dynamic, manual paddles, with TCS off at all times lol.
I have the stupid electronic engine sound plugged and the auto start/stop permanently turned off as well.

Yet another way in which us Aussies got ripped off by JLR!
I am in Dynamic mode all the time.
I switch between S and D, depending if I want the car downshifting all the time.
I use the paddles in S mode about 1/2 the time.
I keep the exhaust wide open 95% of the time, unless an important phone call comes in.
