They didn't have a problem with installing their own bracket and drilling holes in the bumper, something I obviously declined. Nuts.

I just received my Euro Plate so I asked Mashell if I could get just the front bracket to make it easy to swap from one to the other if I felt like it - yep and they also do one for the euro plate if you mention it in the comments. They pointed me to this link and said to put in the notes it is for F-Type and Euro. Great folks....

They refused to do so because of "liability" issues with installing the aftermarket bracket. They didn't want to remove the center Torx screw. This dealership is famous for their horrible service from many past visits. They didn't even let me borrow their Torx 30 so I can do it myself. Customer satisfaction: negative.
I realize I'm a little late to the party here, but you don't need a Torx bit to remove and reinstall that center screw to install the Sto-n-Sho. A short Philips screwdriver will work just fine.

Foosh, I noticed you sold your F-Type? Is this true, and why? Hope you are well.

That's strange. I had no problem mounting my Euro plate to a standard bracket. Maybe that's because I was using a plate holder.

Hi Joe,

I'm great. Good to hear from you, and hope all is well with you.

It was an agonizing decision, and no reflection upon the F-Type, which I had a perfect experience with and loved. It all boiled down to wanting a lighter car w/ a manual transmission. I thought I could love the paddles, but missed rowing my own too much.

It all came down to going with a convertible that was 400-500 lbs. lighter w/ 80-120 more OEM, warranty-safe, naturally-aspirated HP/TQ, with a bullet-proof manual transmission capable of handling that kind of power.

I've always been attracted to lighter, more toss-able cars.

I don't know what the difference is but I will let you know in a couple of days. I too have a plate holder, but they mentioned they had a special one for euro plates so....

I've been trying to think of ways to 'lose' the front plate, whilst having a quick refit option for UK MoT .... then 2 days ago I found this thread.

Had a read yesterday, checked out the photos and Mikes website and shortly after was in dialogue with Mashell. Order placed for a Euro plate version and I've already had the tracking details ... great service.

The area where they operate from was recently devasted by storms, with many still without power. Mashell said they were themselves running off a generator.

How do I know this? Because I asked not to have the discount in exchange for something more useful to me as an overseas customer. I asked her to keep the discount or give to her preferred character; so it's on its way to the local support group and providing more value than a discount to myself.

Will post pics once installed, and best wishes to all impacted by the storms ...

Senninha, thank you for you kindness! Yes people have been absolutely hammered out here, especially the last couple day. Also, thanks for bringing this thread back up so that more folks could see it.
Pistol: Ug... I bought mine in Livermore but am waaay closer to San Jose, so I was hoping that they didn't suck. Guesssnot...
And under "Authorized Retailers" they list... Wal-Mart? You I can just go over to Wally-World now & get one?? Schweet LOL...

Yep - same here. I skipped on the discount and thanked him for providing such a great product and service. I love giving my business to small entrepreneurs like them.

I just ordered mine on the site (direct site), so that I didn't have to engage in a discount, to give them some slack. I have had their product on my F-Type(s) for 2+ years not, and think it is great innovation, and quality.

All received here in the U.K., new plate ordered as is the gloss black bar. Once all parts in I'll have a play. SnS parts all well made, all in black, and look great, really looking forward to getting this done ..

Anyone know if the stock bumper beam cover unclips once the plate holder is off, or has other fixings and if yes, how to access them? Thanx in advance

Install mine tonight - no drama or BS. 5 minutes is correct. So nice! HATE drilling a bumper for a but ugly plate.

It seriously takes more time to read the instructions than it does to install...it really is a fantastic solution made by some really fine folks.
