I buy a lot of gear and equipment online and can speak from experience about the various levels of customer support and product quality I've received. I am thrilled to say that the folks that sell the STO N SHO product and the product itself, are top notch.

The ordering process was simple. Remember the coupon JAGFORUM. The delivery went flawlessly though there was a little unexpected customs duties as the product entered Canada. The installation instructions are clear and simple to follow as is the actual installation and the product is incredibly well made.

Front license plates are required here in Ontario but there was no way I was going to put any drill holes in this vehicle. I'd sooner pay the violation tickets. So, this solution has proven to be ideal. I'm very happy I made the purchase.

Well worth the funds.

So thanks to Jaguar I have a partial upgrade ... the SnS install, 5 mins, the new front plate stuck to mounting plate (then swiftly placed in boot), 10 mins ....

However, as UK dealers drill the front beam I intended to clip on a new gloss black beam ... but Jaguar have used a number of screws to secure beyond the tab clips so I now need to drop the front bumper as access is from the back!! .... so frustrating and will have to wait until I have the PPF installed

A great solution and nicely made product, from another happy customer, and I hope the situation has improved locally for All

Nice job, did you use the US triangular plate mount, or did you specify the UK panel?

I specified the euro plate when in discussion with Machelle who was very helpful.

The plate, mounting bracket and quick release pin are all black, however, the fixing bolt was silver ... Not sure why so I had to touch it in once installed. That's the only issue I could raise with this so not really an issue

Rgds

For all the kudos for Sto-n-Sho, at least one poster had $1600 in damage when a tire tech ran into a parking space block and the Sto n Sho bolt leveraged the front body part and bent it. Something to watch out for.

If the sto-n-sho hadn't been there, I suspect the damage would have been just as severe.

Has anyone successfully installed the Sto N Sho (Model SNS68) on a 2017 SVR? The listing shows it's for 2018-2020 SVR, but I would not think there is any difference between those and the 2017.

Yes - same one I have on my 2017 SVR. Fits perfectly and easily!!

Just to clarify the listing as it's confusing, that SNS68 fits all 2013-2017 F Types (incl SVR). And also fits the 2018-2020 SVR.

For 2018 onwards all F Type (except for SVR) you need SNS139

Fantastic product, very happy. Using it in conjunction with the
Aujen Silicone License Plate Frame Aujen Silicone License Plate Frame
front and back. Very nice touch with the black boarder the frame provides the edge of the license plate. One on the rear protects the area under the plate from getting marred as well a stopping any rattle if you got a little bass in the back.

Those are generally installed by the dealer so removing should be easy enough. Not sure about holes that will be left behind with removing this plate holder, the mounting location is different then the pre 21 f-types

I have a 2021 F Type on order. I instructed the salesperson to tell the new car prep guy not to install any front plate bracket nor dealer temporary front plate or license plate frame.
He said that they come from the factory with the front plate mounting bracket already installed. I guess we'll see when it arrives, but one way or another it won't remain on the car.
From reading the instructions in the link, it sounds like it is just clamped in place through the ventilation holes.

Member JonnyM removed the bracket on his 2021, hard to tell exactly from his photo in the link I provided but it looks like there may not have been any extra holes behind the bracket once removed. Perhaps he can comment.

I just received my 2021 F Type R and one of my first tasks was to remove the factory installed front license plate bracket. After removing 4 Torx screws, the flat plastic plate that the license plate attaches to came right off. The brackets that attach to the grill were next. I used a set of vice grips to turn the threaded ends of the protruding bolts in as far as possible. I don't know how you guys got behind the grill with an 8mm wrench to then keep turning the bolt heads unless you put the car up on ramps, removed the undercarriage cowling and came up from the bottom.

I could see the plastic retainers that were clamping the brackets against the inside of the grill and they needed to be rotated horizontally to allow them to come out the front along with the brackets. They were pretty flexible, so I turned them as close to horizontal as I could get them with my fingers through the holes in the grill, and then used a flat blade screwdriver to push against them and flex them enough to rotate a few more degrees to horizontal. With a little wiggling, the brackets right off. Success !

The car looks 1000% better. If I get ticketed for no front plate, I guess I'll buy a Sto N Sho as there is no way I am going to try and reattach the factory mount.
