Default switched power wire under the hood

I am adding a wireless camera for the front lip of my car. The wireless unit needs power under the hood. I don't want to connect it to constant power because it will slowly drain my battery when I am not using the vehicle. Any suggestions on a wire to tap into that only comes on with the ignition? I don't want to have to come back through the firewall if possible. This is on my 2017 F Type R Convertible. Thanks

Kind of a bandaid fix, but on my old car I used a product that was basically an engine vibration sensor, when the car was on it would connect the circuit from the battery to whatever peripheral you spliced in. I can't find it on Amazon now though, but maybe you'll have more luck.

I have done the exact same thing. You can get ignition power from the fuse box next to the brake master cylinder.

Cool thanks. DId you just use one of the little blue splicers to tap into that wire? Was it pretty easy to get to in that fuse box? Thanks.

Can someone elaborate on which wire exactly I am tapping into? Thanks.
