Just one more thing for you to be aware of. Since you're looking for a 2018-2021 car it will be a facelift car which most probably will have the facelift LED headlights. I think I've only ever seen one weirdly poverty specced facelift car which still had the old pre-facelift xenons but they usually come with the LEDs which suffer from an issue with degradation of the DRL on the driver's side over time. That said, read up on the DRL issue and factor that into the purchase.
Good point. Just replaced my 2020's left side LED assembly due to the dimming DRL. The original unit is now a beautiful $3,400 paper weight.
Don't know if dealer purchased CPO cars in the US may get it under warranty but otherwise the only solution is to cough up that kind of cash. Over here we have a place in Germany that repairs them for 1000€.

EXCELLENT point. In the used P300 market, the difference between a 2018 and a 2021 might be $5k depending on the specs. Might as well go for the 2021 with Apple Car play and not have a future $3k problem on my hands. Thank you!!!! This forum has been so helpful.
Narrowed down to a RED 2021 Jaguar F-type P300 with caramel colored interior and add a Ragnatazz exhaust. Am I missing anything? (besides the V-6 motor).

If you're sure about the engine and happy with the front end looks of the 2nd facelift that sounds like a great choice. CarPlay can be added to any F-Type so that shouldn't really make any difference.
By caramel I guess you mean what Jaguar calls Siena tan. It's a matter of taste obviously but I think it's the nicest F-Type interior color and makes a huge difference to the interior, especially with the extended leather package like in mine.

Another vote for the P300 here. Bullet proof engine, just keep on top of the maintenance as you would with any engine. Its not got the growl of the V6 for sure but then you not paying for new CATS either. It sounds good for a 4 pot, but like the V6 and any car bar high end exotica is a manufactured sound anyway.
The gearbox is a closer ratio to allow to zap through the rev range, and if you get it remapped to 340bhp and get the gearbox remapped, both of which I could can vouch for, there won't be much difference in pace with the higher output V6 cars.
Because its not as well loved you can pick up a late model high spec car for a decent price.
All that being said, there is some great advice in thread, but the best thing to do is go for a test drive and see which car fits best into your needs.
I think apple carplay is standard in the 2021 F-type p300.
Be careful about that. Remember, this was through the general period where there were chip shortages and whatnot. From what I gather some cars did not necessarily come with everything you would typically expect. Even when purchasing my 2024 there was a disclaimer that this features was not guaranteed. So be sure to confirm.

Thank you for the info. I tried the V-6, love it, but still need to try the 4-cylinder. I'd be upgrading from a 2009 Toyota Camry 4-cylinder with 275,000 miles. So with my frame of reference, I think the P300 will be a substantial upgrade.
Curious about the remap? Is that something I can get in California and how much does it cost? Also, since I don't think my future purchase of a used one will be under warranty, does it really matter if I don't disclose this to my insurance?
The P300 cars were lighter optioned in general as they were cheaper, so they don't get as heavily added on. I agree with the sounds and driving, they are fun and sporty, if not super fast, but a blast to push and plenty fast enough to get into trouble. I'd almost rather have the 4cyl over a basic V6, as if you want to actually go fast you get the V8, the 4cyl gives fun turbo noises and is somewhat lighter. I also like the center exhaust on the 4 cyl better than the V6 setup.
Tuning/reflash should be reasonably cheap, I'd assume under $1k for the engine/trans maps, but your local market may affect that, as Cali makes life miserable for modifications. I wouldn't tell insurance anything they don't need to know.

Perfect!! Thank you. I know there will be some that say, "if you're paying $1k for a remap and $2k for the Exhaust modification, just go for the V-6." But I think the p300's sound like less maintenance, better gas mileage, cheaper insurance."

In the UK is was around £400 including the Dyno session.

I think Carplay has been standard since 2018 or 19; Android Auto also became standard with model year 2020 (both require wired USB connection however, though you can stream phone's music apps wirelessly via Bluetooth).
I actually prefer Jag's native Satnav system to Android Auto.

CarPlay was only standard with the 10" infotainment screen without the buttons that came mid-18. However, it can be retrofitted to the older cars with aftermarket products.

The only features that were removed to save chips on certain builds were the Meridian Surround stereo (most common), keyless entry, and blind spot detection/cross traffic alert. So check the build sheets carefully if those three items are a requirement for you as they were sporadically absent in 2021-2023 builds.
... I wouldn't tell insurance anything they don't need to know.
In the UK our insurers need to know everything! Failure to disclose runs the risk of having insurance invalidated and being prosecuted for "no insurance". Even minor alterations can be problematic to some insurers (changing hood vents in one case I read about!).
