Default Thinking of selling launch edition

I'm thinking of selling my fire sand 2014 f type S launch edition.
Car is perfect, low mileage.
Wondering what it's worth?
Cheers,
Stan

Unlike the 2018 P400 Launch Edition, I don't believe that there ever was a discrete launch edition for the 2014 F-Type. If that is indeed the case, the value of your F-Type is comparable to any other 2014 F-Type of similar mileage in similar condition.

Thanks for your reply.
I thought that I had read that the 2104's in fire sand with black interior with orange stitching were launch edition cars?
I guess I'll check the usual sales sites for pricing.

We had a former member here mention that, but that was the first I had heard of a ‘launch edition.’

Interestingly, I just flipped through my MY14 brochure (dated Feb 13), and the vast majority of the pictures are of Salsa Red cars, and there isn’t a single Firesand picture. Strange, one of the first F-types my dealer received was a Firesand V8S, which the owner of the dealership quickly snagged.

Maybe it was a launch edition in the UK?

Nothing depreciates like luxury. Bad news for original owners, good news for secondary market. I haven't checked the market because I'm not looking to buy or sell right now, except my '91 Miata. I hope you don't find resale value to be too distressing.

You may be correct. But since few know about it, there may not be much interest in it. Your best bet will be to rely on the typical pricing sources. Is there any badging to indicate that it is unique?

Heres a 2014 that bid to $40k+, but did not sell.

Here's a second one: Similar.

Please note the bid dates as they are several years old. I would think the Firesand should bring more money due to unique color. You didn't state mileage or whether it was the V8S. I assumed it was but is it just an S (V6)? As 14's were only vert's, it's a vert. If it's a special launch edition, then maybe there's more dollar.

I have a 2014 V8S Firesand Orange, Black interior with Orange stitching and almost fully loaded. That I bought new in 2013 when they first came out. I never heard of a launch edition and it wasn't sold as one either and I'm sure if there was one the dealer would have charged me a whole lot more for the car than they did. Anyway best of luck on the sale of yours.

Mine has a relatively early build date of 10/13 and all of the paper work says "Select Edition." I have no idea what if anything that means.

Thanks for the replies.
I love the car but it hardly gets driven.
It's a V6 S.
I'll soon get it out from winter storage, take some pics and give BAT a try.

Some of the BAT regulars were giving grief that a relatively new car was being auctioned, but they've had 4 F tpes on the site I believe. Give it a go.

You might PM immunizer - his ‘14 Firesand V6S was recently totaled...

Keep in mind, Canadian prices are quite higher than US.

Check Canadian Black Book to get approximate estimate and a starting point.
