Question Which tire should i go with !?

I will order new tires through TireRack.com this weekend
initially I wanted to order the Michelin Sport 4s but I called them and they are backordered for at least 1-2 months according to the rep

So looking on tirerack, the only options left for my car 2017 S F type

Bridgestone Potenza Sport 300 AA A
Continental Extreme ContactSport 340 AA A
Kumho EcstaPS91 260 AA A ( what i have currently, hate them, horrible )
Pirelli P Zero 220 AA A ( what.... only 220 AA ? )
Michelin Pilot Sport ALL SEASON 4 ( 540 AA A )

I'm leaning towards the MICHELIN ALL SEASON 4 , the wear rating is 540....anyone have experience with them? they are pretty cheap right now too

thanks guys

I have them on my 2018 Corvette Grand Sport and I really like them. I think they are superior to the 4S as a street tire. They are the stock tire on the C8 Corvette and the standard C8 pulls .93G on the skidpad so I think they will do fine for a tire on the street.

Are they good for spirited canyon drives, casual track days?

The MICHELIN ALL SEASON 4 are the best all season tires I have ever had. I previously had the Conti Extreme CS and I thought they were great but the Michelin's seem to handle, ride and grip just a bit better. I would suggest that you cannot go wrong with either tire for spirited driving on an all season tire. Can't speak to track use but then you might just have to invest in two different sets of tires if you don't want any compromises.

You are not going to find one tire that is going to do everything super well from street to track in all different weather conditions. If there was one tire that could do that we all would own it.

They are certainly more than good enough for spirited twisty road driving and will certainly get you to the "go to jail" level with not problem. I have never driven a car on the track, thousands of track miles on a motorcycle, but I would have no problem giving them a try on the track. I think it would depend on how hot the weather is on the track day.

IMO, Conti Extreme Contact Sport is a performance shoe that is equal to Mich PS4S.
Outstanding performance on Utah's mountain twisties and Track Days.
Ace the Pee Zero's ASAP.

Have Fun.

I can vouch for the PS4's as it far exceeded my driving abilities this past weekend at the tail of the dragon...and I wasn't driving slow

I had mich a/s's.

Now have Conti DWS06Plus tires...they are better than the Michelines.....imho.

265/305 on my 20" rims no problem.....For street, all I need. In rain and cool they are amazing.

If you look at tyre reviews (the youtube channel's name), the newer conti's seem to be just killing it. I was a hard core Michelin person before mind you. They even had a summer tire that was better than the PS4.....so go figure. I am happy on my a/s dws06plus (the plus stiffened up the sidewall a lot....).

One thing you need to watch: tire weights.

Ive had conti extreme contact sport, as well as PS4s (not PS4, those might be discontinued ). Ps4s are my preference

Seems like the choice is between the Cont or Michelins. Don’t seem like bad choices at all.

I fitted the Michelin PS AS 4's last Fall.
I only have about 2K miles on them but IMO they handle , if anything, better than the oem PZs.
I plan to keeo them on year round, but I do not track - fastest so far is 110mph!!
My unused (new) PZs are for sale if anyone is interested.

My father has them on his 400 Sport, I haven't pushed his car hard with them on, but looking at video from our recent track day they seem to be almost as grippy (perhaps just as grippy) as the Bridgestone S04's I have on my car. Both of us are novices so neither one of us is working the tires to their absolute limits, but with the All seasons pulling ~1.2G's (peak) at several points, I'd say they are more than up to a spirited driving on a winding road or two.
