Tires - Yokohama Advan Neova AD09?
I am currently running Michelin PS4S in 265/35/20 front and 305/30/20 rear on my F-Type R. The PS4S is a great all-around tire, but I'm finding it tends to heat up and get greasy during track day events. I'm looking at Yokohama Advan Neova AD09s for a potential next set. Anyone have experience with these on an F-Type? I'm looking for something I can use for HPDE events while driving back and forth to the track on them. I know that is a tough use case, and compromises will be involved. I'm not looking for ultimate lap time, but something that will hold up well on track while also having good street manners (wet and dry).
I recommend checking this site and youtube channel. I think it is the best information you can get. https://www.tyrereviews.com

@Bierry - Thank you - that is great info. Sounds like you have a very similar use case to what I am looking at. I will definitely give the Dunlops a look. They didn't come up in my initial search by size at Tire Rack, but I can find them going directly to the specific tires.
I am still curious if anyone has experience with the Neova AD09s on an F-Type. The reviews I have found so far are on lighter, lower-powered cars and I'm curious if they are still as well regarded on the F-Type. The 200 treadwear rating and cost of the ADO9s looks a little more economical than the Dunlops on initial review.

I am running the AD09's now on my car. I run Yok V601s most of the time, and was happy with them but wanted more grip for the track.
They are delivering more grip, particularly under braking. So much so I am going to have to learn the track again.
I went out on them with my brain on auto pilot and wound up running 5 seconds a lap slower (on a 2:10 lap) b/c on the new stickier tires,
I was using my old braking points and the new tires were over slowing me due to greater braking.
In terms of breakaway character, I like them they slide gently and progressively and give you time to recover without getting snap-ish.
They held up to full 20m sessions in 100 degree track temps.
I look forward to giving them a more proper go once we have air you cant stir with a spoon here in New Orleans.

Which would you go for with only occasional track use - I am in Austin and car is only used in dry unless I get caught out.
I would probably go V601s for occasional track use. I'd worry about heat cycling the AD09's with prolonged street use. Mine heat cycled out with plenty of tread left. I plan to get another set or maybe a set of the Nankang CR-S v2, but they will be kept on a 2nd set of wheels.
I've used those Advan's when endurance racing, but wouldn't recommend them at all. They have a narrow temperature window and don't take much abuse.
The Falken 615k+, RS4, and ExtremeContact Force will be more in line with an all arounder that can take track abuse. Just note all the 200tw tires are a compromise in the wet compared to the P4S or a ExtremeContact Sport.

Used them on track - agree with CarlB.
The michelin tires, while costly, for street with rare track use end up lasting the longest and typically handling rain best when half worn...and it is weird how often you are on tires half worn in the rain....

Lots of people seem to go on about how bad the stock tires are on these cars. I don’t really find them that bad. I haven’t been heavily stepping into it because of break in, so perhaps I will have more complaints moving forward, but so far so good overall.
Had the Pirelli summer stock tires....my conti dws06plus tires are way better....the michelin summer tires and conti summer tires are even better unless it is cold.... The stock tires were friggin scary. Just my opinion.
The car rides fine in comfort, but in sport it can be harsher at times for sure. It would be nice to have it in sport mode most of the time and have it feel like comfort…Which some on here have claimed is possible with the Michelins…
My buddy runs Continentals on his V8 Vantage consistently and swears by them.
