Default Traded in the f Type

I traded in my wife's 2015 F Type V8 S it's black with red interior. It has less than 800 miles on it, and has just about every option including CCB's. The MSRP on it was just under $117,000. It was a great car, but she needed something with more space, so she got an SUV. The car was never abused, and is in perfect condition. If anyone is interested in buying her F Type it's at the Mercedes in Silver Spring Maryland for $99,950. They didn't mark it up much at all from what they gave me. Someone who wants a RWD convertible should pick this car up, you won't find a better example. Thank you all for making this forum active, I'll continue checking the site.

Exactly, the dealer is right on Briggs Chaney Rd, not in the auto park. They're closed today, but I think the car is sitting outside on the ramp so you should be able to see it. If possible, I'd like the car to go to an enthusiast who will enjoy it.

Was that your wife's only car? I guess I have a little trouble understanding what the purchase motivation was in the first place?

I can tell you that the F-Type will be my only car. I'm driven by a passion for the car itself. the looks, the sounds, and the fact that at 44 years of age, I am finally able to afford a more elegant, luxurious sports car.

Damn it all to hell if I need to transport anything home. Companies deliver or I can rent a u-haul pick up.

Purchasing a car isn't always a sensible decision. heart and Passion play a very large role over brain function and sensibility.

It wasn't her only car. I got it for her as a surprise birthday present.

Hope to get there this weekend. Trying to line up a friend to go look at it who might be interested.

Had a chance to get over to look at the car. The ultimate Black is beautiful, but unfortunately it looks like the dealer hasn't washed it since you dropped it off.
The car is indeed being listed for $96,790 on their website, but they are asking $105k when you get to the lot. The somewhat unrefined salesperson was doing his best to engage in the high pressure sales dance, but it was having no impact on me or my friend. This is what I would have expected from a Ford or Chevy, and not from a Mercedes dealership.
I must say, the experience I've had and am still having with my Jaguar sales team has been quite enjoyable by comparison. I'm hoping the service experience is similar and up to the same level as the local MINI shop.

That's a shame they haven't washed it, and the salesperson wasn't up to par. They probably didn't know anything about the car and just looked at the price on the window. If you guys are interested in the car, let me know and I can refer you to someone who sold me a few Mercedes. I got the G63 from him most recently. If not, good luck with the search. Hopefully they wash that thing, it looks great when clean.

Black, I'm touched that you seem attached to your old car, were sorry to let it go because it didn't fit your wife's preferences, and that you really want to see it go to a good home.

You sound like one of the "good guys!"

Hahahaha, I appreciate it. It was sad to see it go with such low mileage. After spending a lot of time on this site, I thought I owed it to you guys to make it known this car is out there. Hopefully it goes to a good home.
