trouble with incontrol

Default trouble with incontrol

I've successfully linked my incontrol account to my car. The end of the registration process asked for a PIN and when I put in a PIN it said, "input contains reserved characters." How do I get passed this?

Has to be a four digit number. Is that what's causing the error?

It seems to be. I picked a number and then tried various others when the original didn't work. Same error message.

What use / value is icontrol ?

Uninstall the app from your cell phone. Then reload it and make certain you are using the right app. There were a number of them when I loaded mine.

Also PIN should be 4 digits and no duplicate numbers right next to each other.

ps: it appears they cleaned up the apps...there's only one "Jaguar Apps" app on the app store now.

I tried that but the problem is with the set up website. It doesn't recognize any PIN I try. I was hoping this was a common problem that would have had a known work around.
I'm likely going to have to contact the dealership.
