I have the basic suede/leather interior seats and I'm getting the itch to convert it to something more sexy. I'm loving the look of the SVR seats and door panel inserts.

Has anyone here tried modifying their interior seats to something else? How did it go?

I found a company that does custom seat inserts but they don't list Jaguar on their website -http://leatherseats.com/

Any suggestions of who to contact or if its not worth it to do this modification?

 

Why not just buy a set of 'wing-backs' out of a wreck and get them recovered?

 

Wouldn't that end up being more expensive? I'm ok with the current seats but would like it upholstered to a diamond leather stitching.
I also don't like the central seam that runs through the wing backs

 

You could try these guys (link below) and see if they could get the pattern for the f-type sport seats. If so, you could probably have anything you wanted as far as color, material and stitching goes. You would need a pro upholsterer to install though, not a DIY job. I think their stuff is made in India, or Pakistan to order, though they operate out of Michigan.

Considering the lack of options on the sport seats, you might convince them it might be worthwhile for them to offer some options for them... in return for being a test bed...

I've seen them on an old 300ZX forum where they were well reviewed, but haven't used them myself.
