URGENT: Any special parts needed for alignment?
Hi everyone,
crossing my fingers for a quick answer here:
I just brought my freshly-lowered car in for an alignment and the gentleman was concerned as to whether special bolts would be needed to adjust the camber and caster (paraphrasing).
I've only ever gotten alignment at the dealer before, this is my first time getting one at an independent shop.
Rather than find out the hard way, I was hoping that someone here might know about it.
Thanks!

Rear camber is not adjustable, so it is what it is. I have not heard of anyone needing special hardware to get alignment into spec after lowering. I'm sure I'd have made a note if something like "camber bolts" was noted in anyone's post on lowering springs, tires, or wheels.
I’m curious here, did you take before and after photos? Earlier this year I ordered some forged rims customized to specs I discussed with Vossen, and the F Type. At the time I strongly considered lowering the car but I decided not to move forward with that step. I’d like to see your results.
Thanks,
Jason

@Luc Lapierre I hope your lowered car is driving well and your tires are surviving.
I took a look at the alignment process for the F-Type and I made up some methods to measure the alignment parameters.
My rear tires do show wear on the inner thread, probably due to negative camber in the rear. (although I do have toe-in issue on the right rear tire).
Otherwise my car's alignment seems to be in good shape.

Driving well yes, I love the cornering (and the looks!). I'm certainly more aware of low quality road surfaces now though

Contemplating moving from 20s to 19s for a bit more sidewall.
Here is the alignment I got
Here is how the tires are looking roughly 5,000km later:
Rear left, from behind the car
Front left, from the front
