I have the 380W system and find it at least as good as the 550W B&W system I had in my previous XKR. Though I have to admit I rarely turn it on - the 4 speakers at the back are more than enough entertainment for me!
Agree with that, the XKR B & W system was rubbish though it was alright with acoustic guitar.

Yeah true, my concern is theyre one of those dealerships dealing with an interstate buyer and all they do is tick off the service on the system of the car while having done nothing.
And in all honesty, this dealership seems a little shady.

Have you ever thought of upgrading your speakers?

No, I'm quite happy with the way they sound. On the rare occasions I turn them on.

Did you manage to haggle the price down a bit?
And what about trucking it over to you?
And of course the questions about paint dings, oil change and brake fluid change?
Not jealous much!

Haha yeh i did! The best i could get them down to is $112k
No delivery though....and i said no to service and dings.
Id rather have it done and confirm it myself. I just dont trust this dealership to be honest.
All in all i feel like they could have been more flexible with the price but i was the desperate one in the end. 🤣😓

For me it's much easier giving advice than following my own. When I get a hard on for a car all sense goes out the window, I cant sleep until it is in my garage.

This one you are getting sounds pretty cheap to me, similar to the '11 XKR I bought just on 3 years old - in fact I think I paid about the same for it, and I figured if I spent $5K or so bringing it up to what I wanted it would still be cheap. A good clay and wax had it looking like new, though now I have moved on to artificial clay which is another story...

Haha i know right..hard to hold yourself in.
Ive got a long wait ahead of me too.

Yeah im under the impression that its a pretty good deal. Judging by the car sales previous and current sales history of the R.
I always go overboard on the spending with my cars...as you do though. Great thing is with this one, for the first time i feel like i doesnt need much as far as additions...its virtually got everything i want.
Cant wait to crank out the clay and wax on this thing!

So ive had the car inspection done.
One thing showed up and that was one of the seat adjustments.
The adjustment to raise the seat on drivers side seems to be the only function not working.
Anyone experienced this?
They said they would fix it, but we'll see...

Only four sleeps to go!
Yep, I saw that black one the day it came up, first R I have ever seen under $100k in Oz.
Pity it's not in SA and it's black on black which is my least preferred colour combo otherwise I would seriously consider it.
But the price seems a little too good to be true to me, especially from a dealership, so I suspect it has/had major problems.
