V6S -16 (Open valves - How?)
Hey!
After lots of reading I have now understood how it is with the exhaust systems (non active, active, switchable active exhaust.) It's a real mess!
However, I do not have the button open / close the valves. I am looking for an alternative so i can make sure tha valves stays open all the time.
I have seen you guys wright something about "fusy 37" etc. But can anyone plz clarify for me how I can do to manipulate so that the valves are open constantly?
Thanks in advance!

Hello there. I too, do not have the button. Pull fuse F43. It is behind the panel at the front of the passenger footwell. To get to it, it panel can easily be pried off by hand. Get a fuse pulling tool at your local auto parts shop to prevent dropping it inside.
I pulled mine and it was very loud and popped like crazy. It droned at a certain RPM so I put it back. Also, I’ve had my share of loud cars.

You’ll get the loudest in Dynamic Mode plus putting the gear knob in Sport. Only then, the valves will open progressively. at 4000 revs they are completely open.
Not sure the F43 trick works on a ‘16, as I think that’s when they stopped using the electric vacuum pump.
I have a key fob that remotely switched F43 in and out, so I can have 100% loud at will, but no highway drone.

Correct...my ‘16 has no vacuum pump.
Mine sounds like they're fully open all the time in dymanic and S. Maybe it's an MY thing.

If you want the valves open all the time, just disconnect and plug the vacuum lines leading to the muffler valves.
Thank you sir!
