Valve stem caps
The metal ones can seize and corrode the valve stems. I bought oem British fla caps for our 15 LR4. I though they were plastic like the oem growler caps I bought for my XF. Over two winters they seized on the stems and had to be broken to be removed. Ruined 1 valve stem, other three need replacement soon. Anti-seize needed if you use these as stated. This is particular problem in winter climates that also use de-icing salts. Also top heavy metal ones have been reported to cause issues. Lengthy discussion on this in the XF forum a few years back.
On the "blower noise" thread, they mentioned Mina Gallery. I went & took a look and look what they have:

They also have super reasonable prices on CF parts, I guess because they are just overlays, not the whole part... Think this would look OK or look like crap??

I wouldn't thunk that JLR would have made them aluminum and it appears many on the forum didn't know it was an issue. I should have verified, but I had with the oem growler caps (as I said plastic).

I'd use metal ones without giving it a second thought. I don't drive my car in the winter but if I did, a bit of antiseize, grease, vaseline, or almost anything else would solve any potential issue IMO

Recently had my winter tires removed and the tire shop had a helluva time getting the caps off. These were the ones provided by Jaguar NA as a thank you gift which was delivered via courier in a real nice case a couple of months after I had received my car. I remember chuckling when I opened the box as the caps looked very cheap and appeared plastic. I installed them without any anti-sieze and after a winter of snow and salt I'm lucky the shop was able to get them off without breaking the TPMS sensor.
