VAP non valved race exhaust -anyone have one?
Hi all
i I have been looking at some VAP exhaust mods and they have been great answering some of my initial questions. I leave my valves open all of the time but will keep things quieter either with dynamic off or out of sport mode. Therefore I thought I would do the straight race exhaust with no valves. Does anyone have some real world experience with this setup (standard cats for now). Just wanted to see if things can be somewhat “quieter” if needed. Thanks

I’m running 200 cell cats and the VAP race exhaust. It is straight through; no resonators, no canister. It is….loud. Start it up in a parking garage, and it sounds like a nascar. Once at speed though, it is tolerable, at least to me. But hey, I’ve been riding race bikes and driving hot rods my entire adult life. Loud as **** is normal to me, and valves are for people living in gated communities.

Thanns I appreciate it that is exactly the feedback I wanted. Someone did a video of that set up a while back. As long as I can still have a conversation on the highway with my wife I am good
. If you have time for a video that would be great. Thanks for getting back. My order is in process so hopefully I will have it soon.
