I would run stock pressure and run it in auto the first pass or two to base line it, then play with the pressures if you are spinning hard or the tires aren't real happy. Shouldn't be much different vs. blasting it at the on ramp to the interstate.
In a drag race remember: Speed is power, acceleration is efficiency.

Down to 28psi is fine, no need for DSC as it is 1/2 mile and you can ease in to the throttle. I registered twice for this event when it was in May and failed twice to run because of weather. Enjoy the Homestead, beautiful hotel, lots to do, usually go to any event that gets you to stay there. Get the spa/sauna access and you end up with your own pool away from the masses ...

RIF, sorry. Suggest just run it smoothly and try to be consistent. No need to power shift down low and maybe short shift it if it's blowing the tires off. Also at the end of the run write down what your shift points were and how the car performed as it went down the track. Hopefully they'll have some other speed traps for reference like a drag strip does. A chest mount GoPro that can see the gauges and outside will also help you understand the runs.
A really good run requires everything to work well together and led me to a lot of stress and frustration a the track. I found that it was easier to concentrate on getting each section of the track 'right' before trying to put it all together. From launch to 3rd gear smoothly and efficiently was the toughest part.
Watch some video's of Gas Rhonda in his '64 fairlane lightweight. He shifted so smooth the car sounded and acted like an automatic.
Oh yeah, remember to have fun.

No guesses on trap speed or elapsed times. I'm more interested to see how much better than the stock 5.1 seconds I can do 0-60. Before the tune/pulley, the V6S could barely hang in there with my tuned/pullied MINI.
