Thanks for the well wishes. I'm doing well, just doing follow up care and monitoring to make sure it does not come back. Unfortunately the odds are not on my side but positive attitude and all that! :-)

the difference in what a manufacture pays and customer is nothing. Gm just slashed warranty times almost in half on many jobs and pushes good techs clean out of the industry. Then when you get short paid on warranty and the customer pay times are just upped 30% of warranty when you used to get more than that even under warranty. I see new techs coming in getting a starting pay i got 21 years ago!!! The dealer will get more money not warranting it. And guess what, you think jaguar and their parts supplier knows what wheels you have on the car??? Hell no.. That is a clear violation of magnusson moss warranty act. Now if it was and extended warranty company yeah they can and do pull that. Especially with suspension repairs, and once denied it always denied.
Like others said, go to another dealer that not only will do your warranty work but wants to keep you a customer after the warranty is up too.
Just read you r stage 4 cancer post, do well. Yeah a buy back out in the market is usually a flagged warranty. Jaguar does get those cars back and can tear them apart to learn and fix other cars and fix the issue with buy back. But the situation changes with each car as to how it ends up.

 

All parts ordered to correct all warranty items. Warranty on car has been fully reinstated and the record of the manufacturer buy back has been expunged.
Here's to White Plains Jaguar coming through in a big way for me!
