Is it replaced from the bottom or top on the R?

 

 

Had water pump replaced last week. Coolant oder is still present and the plastic engine cover seems as if it has not been touched.........

 

was it replaced at the dealer? mine washed the engine bay after so that the coolant smell would go away

are you concerned they didn't actually fix the problem? I ended up having an additional leak in one of the coolant lines under the supercharger which required it to go back under the knife a week or so later

 

Similar experience for me. Not even sure if they really replaced it. Mine holds pressure, and no drop in coolant, so I figure it can't be too severe a problem. I tried teflon tape on the reservoir cap, haven't noticed much improvement. Fortunately, this is the only issue I've had with the car, so I just live with it....

 

Dealer. It just seems like the engine cover was not remove. Dust/dirt is even throughout with no fingerprints.... I will check real good under the cover this weekend. They had the car an entire week.......
