You haven’t hit any potholes yet or dropped a rear wheel off a curb, have you?

This exactly; my 295 + 17mm spacers rubbed on severe bumps, there's no way that setup doesn't rub on moderate to severe suspension hits.

It's dangerous to say "no issues" if you haven't tested every scenario. People might buy your exact setup assuming its issue free and then find it's completely undrivable on their roads with luggage in the trunk. Luckily for me, I was just able to swap from 17mm spacers to 15mm spacers and didn't have to purchase smaller tires or new springs, but everyone may not be that lucky.

315/30/22 Pirelli PZero just sounds like two wrongs making a bigger wrong. The P-Zero is well documented as a tire that leaves a lot to be desired. That tire size is way too tall, too. What problem were you trying to solve? If it was grip, then switching from P-Zeros to almost any other brand would have that. If it's about looks, that's a personal preference thing, but I can never bring myself to do anything to the Jag that makes it worse.

My biggest question with this thread is why... if you're going for looks, great. I agree wider does look cooler.

But if you're actually trying to change the dynamics of the car, I think people are just throwing parts at a problem assuming wider is better.

100% agreed. Stickier and NOT wider for drag or track is the solution

Im new to this forum. im planning on putting 22's all the way around. which will sound hideous to many. but i always go against the grain. So what are your offsets on these wheels and also do you have spacers installed?

I don't normally like black wheels on red cars but you put together a really nice combination. Really nice car sir.

And you have fine taste, sir.

Actually the wheels are graphite grey, I tend to prefer them in that colour against gloss black, and they dont show up the dirt so much.

It does add more traction, more contact surface area. (F1 tyres are wide)

OEM Rotor aero forged 20" wheels 9 in front 10.5 in back.

Conti DWS06 Plus 265/35/20 in front. 305/30/20 in rear. No spacers. Stock springs.

No issues. Looks great too.

Drives great three.

Because every aspect of them is engineered to win races on closed courses while being pushed to the very limit. Very little of what works in a formula 1 race can be applied to a road car.
