Default Quick tire fitment question.

I know this has been covered a lot but I had a question on tire fitment. I just ordered a set of Ferrara FR8 wheels for my Jag. 20x9 35 and 20x11.5 30. I’ll be running Mich 4s tires. The sales rep said To go with a 305 30 in the rear. I noticed that the cars with the same set up are running 305 25 in the rear. Just wondering if this will be a problem. The car is dropped on H&R springs.

Thank you again for all the info within this community.

Go through alot of tires. What I have noticed is the stock 295 PZero sidewall is very round and with the H&R springs plus 15mm spacers it will rub slightly on full compression, the 4S does not with the same setup. Without spacers the 305 4s fits fine.

Please clarify: Are the numbers behind the wheels sizes the wheel offset or the tire profile?
If offset, you will likely have exterior tire rub in front under full compression in a tight turn.

I know of no one running 25 tire profiles on 20” wheels in back. You will want to use a 305/30-20 tire. With the 30 offset you listed above (assuming that’s the offset) you’ll have no issue with rub.

Unhinged. Those are wheel offsets. Sorry if that was unclear. I did notice one person with these exact wheels running PZeros with a 25 sidewall. I couldn’t find any other tire size information for other members who are running these wheels with the same exact specs as mine.

Thank you.
I’m looking forward to getting these wheels on the car. I’m concerned I may have to change the springs. I live in the northeast and the drop may unsuitable for the roads out here. But I’m gonna give it a go since I already purchased them last year.

The thrird and fourth cars have 11.5 inch rears with ferrada wheels. This is where I got my specs from.

It’s hard to find 315 tires to match an 11.5” wheel width.

I’m going to be running a 305 not a 315. But i can always try and find a 315. Never seen anyone here run that width.

An 11.0” wheel is the right width to optimize the contact patch on a 305 wheel, but an 11.5” will still be within the range of wheel widths recommended by the tire manufacturer. Pirelli and Toyo offer a 315 tire - the width best suited for an 11.5” wheel.
