Hi guys,
can someone tell me what this sticker/decal is on my windshield. Looks like it was placed there by the dealership who sold the car to the previous owner (used). Has some sort of folded paper inside it with the VIN. I’m assuming it’s one of those “to be removed by purchaser” kind of deals.

That's your temporary vehicle license. When you get your plates and/or stickers from DMV, you can remove that.

 

Required in California for new vehicles before the permanent plates arrive. Might not be needed where you live.

That's clearly a California document. Not sure what they use in Colombia.

 

Don't Worry, remove it...I've never had the Mattress Police haul me away for removing the "DO NOT REMOVE UNDER PENALTY OF LAW" tags, either.

 

lol, it'll be gone after my windshield is replaced. thought I'd ask as I've never seen something like that. here in GA, you can drive w/o a tag for I believe 30 days, no temp tag needed.

 

Just give that to the nice officer. Keep it handy.
