Looks like it’s a car mostly for the Gen X and Gen Y crowd.

Looks like it’s a car mostly for the Gen X and Gen Y crowd. The boomers generally aren’t in sufficient condition to get in and out of a seat that’s barely more than curb height.

I'm at the very end of the Boomers (b. 1964) - I can fall out of the car quite gracefully.

Hopefully, you won’t have to wait another 46 years for the G-Type.

Old enough to afford a Garage Queen (2014 V6S w/7,000 miles)
Young enough to enjoy it (top down, dynamic - sport mode, spirited driving in the twisty rural backroads)

Aha! Phillipintexas, you're not the oldest. At 74, I'm laying claim to that distinction! And perhaps another mini-survey, our FT is the 10th Jaguar to grace our garages and travels! Pretty rare to be boasting about advancing age, though, so don't tell everyone.

Bought the F-Type at 51. Would not even have considered it had it not been equipped with a manual transmission. While I have an XK8 I inherited when Dad passed, the lack of a manual actually makes it less fun to drive than even the four-door X-Type (also manual).

The F has basically become my daily driver though...over 22K miles in barely nine months of ownership.

64, Loving this car 2015 V6 Dark sapphire with the light white seats. The old gal I am married to refuses to even sit in the car. "I don't want my *** dragging on the ground. I cant get in and out of the thing." Sounds like a baby boomer to me. oh and I drive way to fast. This is my 6th sports car. First Jag.

Late 20s. Saw the segment on the F-Type on Top Gear years ago and knew in my heart I had make it happen somehow. Worked my *** off to finally be in a position where I can comfortably afford it. So glad I didn't get an M2.

Cliche', however, old enough to know better, but too young to resist.
