I'm a little earlier than '64 and SWMBO constantly ribs me about my efforts to get out of or into the car when parked on her driveway (about a 8 degree upslope).
It's better now since I uprooted and deep sixed a large bush she had right where the door opened, I called it "the car eating bush from Hell".

Is there a way to select the option of having the driver's seat retract automatically when the engine is shut off? The steering wheel automatically raises, but I find it easier to enter and exit with the seat all the way back.

Don't think so, but perhaps you could use the 3rd seat memory to set it that way? Push the memory button before you exit, and select the preferred setting once you're in the car.

Does anyone have any knowledge about the assumed accuracy of a non-scientific poll such as this?

As KVO pointed out, some of us have changed age groups since that poll was originally posted in 2014. I was in the 41-50 range when I voted back then. I've since 'matured' into the next bracket.

Highly unscientific - for recreational purposes only.

I may you all beat. I turn 75 in Sept. and purchased my F Type last October. It's a 2014 Stratus Grey convertible with Cirrus/Jet interior. Lover it and try to drive it every day. Keeps me young.

Mounting a chain hoist on the garage ceiling just above the driver's door will do the trick.

30s are a very close second. I do wish these were broken down into smaller buckets, though. I am surely biased, but I feel like there is a massive difference between early 30s and late 30s. At least for me, staring my 39th birthday right in the eyeballs, I am a completely different person now from who I was 9 years ago. My taste in vehicles has evolved significantly as well.

Wait until you're late 60s, 30 and 39 are exactly the same!

Certainly better than being called an adolescent when you’re in your 60s.
