Bill, let me get your opinion on this.
When I purchased my 2018 Fuji white new I clayed it (only because it had sat on the dealer's lot for a few months), applied Meguiar's Mirror Glaze 21, then waxed with Griot's Best of Show.
In the future I intend to apply the Meguiar's Mirror Glaze and skip the wax, as I don't see the wax added anything in the way of gloss or longevity. Do you know of any disadvantage to not waxing on top of the sealant?
Thanks for any advice you may want to extend.

I don't see any reason to not wax over the sealant. Only more protection for the paint. I have probably waxed my car 3 or 4 times in the past two months. After I wash the car I usually follow up with Mequiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer to freshen up the wax. You can never have to much protection; kind of like a man wearing a belt and suspenders.

Well, not too bad - heck at 16 I'dld have been (mostly) happy to be in your position...even with (at time of your post) a 3yo Jag F-Type *and* having to drive with a licensed adult most hours of days. In Florida, naturally where that's the law. Ergo, driving it around w/ no one else but for that mandatory adult (as it's a 2 seater). But at 16, still a good setup!

It's now 2019, so you've maybe just been able to drive it by yourself, or about to be able to . . . congrats!

Sports cars and GTs are too low; SUVs are too high to climb into. Are we relegated to Prius’, Civic’s, Camrys, and Malibus ❓😨.

Oh, I just had an idea: the XE😃❗️

Just got to 20, told the lady boss I wouldn’t buy one unless I could also grab a house which was enough incentive for her for now

Nice, at 16 my first car was was '64 Chevy II with a straight six and three on the tree that I bought for $100. I'd say you have done considerably better.

Nice. The first car in my name was a used 1st Gen 1980 Supra and my first new car was a launch year 85 MR2. I' m still searching for the dream car I couldn't afford, an 85 Gen 2 Supra in mint/new condition. The F-Type is similar in a lot of ways, except 0-60 in 1/3rd the time.

The first car titled in my name was a 60 something Ford Anglia. Nothing on that was similar to an F-Type. lol
