I have not yet figured out what that particular elastic strap is for. There’s also another one in the back of the boot on the right hand side.

I bought the dome top locks. There is absolutely no clearance to to hammer a socket over them. You just need the key. It has a letter code. I wrote it down on a Jaguar card that also has a spot for your emergency key number, although there was no number sticker on either emergency key. My code is ‘W’ if I ever lose it. I will ask you guys for it.

On mine the strap at the LHS front of the boot/trunk/hatch was used for the goo kit compressor, but it was very soggy and pretty much useless so the compressor now sits in the cubby/box.
I find the little strap at the back RHS of the hatch to be very useful to store/hold my window frost wiper-offer tool (ie a small window cleaner) which I need most mornings in winter when leaving from SHMBO's joint, mainly for the rear window.

I didn't see an obvious place for the tow hook. Perhaps I'm missing a piece? I clearly have the spot for the key and there is another spot for tire goo. The side of the battery are just open air until the walls.

Unhingd posted a great picture of the tow hook in it's carrier. I tried to copy and paste the picture for you but as I'm an idiot it failed in the preview. Find the thread "Group Buy: Lithium-Ion Battery" and look at post #125 (page 7).

Here's a pic of the hook sitting in the Styrofoam cradle:

Yep, I don't have that cradle. I'll search the web to find one.

It was noted by the tech that he has never seen a factory rim hold up to heat like the jag rim did, was impressed with the lock and the rims. Minimal damage really.

i will be promptly removing my wheel looks, my car is locked up 99% of its life.

Wow, this is impressive. I am actually in the process of ordering Jaguar OEM Wheel Locks as I DO live in a part of the country where stolen rims and catalytic converter thefts are all the rage and happy to hear the Jaguar ones stand up to most forms of brute force attemps.

Wonder if there's something similar for the F-Pace?
