My '16 V6S did not. Are you certain you don't have the chrome pack or chrome vent option?

Maybe it's a pack thing then...I ordered the black pack so perhaps that's it.

Edit: just checked the car configurator, yep, looks like it's related to the black pack. My mistake.

In 14-15 US cars, they were exclusively on V8s (all RWD) so that's what I'm accustomed to calling them. All the 16 V6s I've seen in this country have the 14-15 mesh vents, and now we only have AWD V8s now, so that's an entirely different vent.

Sounds like things are different in the UK.

For those that like them ( I'm one ) there's lots of possibilities, how about something like this?

Nah, I corrected my earlier statement in the post just above to Unhingd. Looks like a black pack thing that gives the new-style vents, but otherwise regular V6s come with the original type. Doh!

For 5-6 hundred American Dollars yes, not at nearly twenty five hundred.

Mine is hanging on my garage wall!
It does nothing more than hide the supercharger and hold a little more heat in to my mind...

Ok guys, do any of you want to sell your unused engine cover? If so, PM me.
Talked to my local hydrodipper today. About $300 to duplicate the picture JimC64 posted. Lots of other options. Interesting technology. Simple but clever.

I think that is just hydrodipped, not the actual carbon fiber engine cover. You can tell by the distortion and warping of the weave around bends. So a lot cheaper. $300 according to IRRBrogue.

I showed the local installer this picture. He offers the same pattern, but pointed out that to accentuate the weave, this pattern is black and silver. To make it look more like real carbon fiber, he can spray a tint coat that will mute the silver. The supercharger labels are plastic welded to the cover, so he would just mask over them, instead of trying to take them off. Lots of options for the Jaguar labels and the three center stripes. These look painted, and the black around the Jaguar was probably painted. It looks like the back section of the cover was dipped separately, since the weave is running at 90 degrees to the front weave. Also, a new cover is part #C2P25882, and retails for $136.50, in case you want to go back to stock. This process requires the original cover to be painted and sanded smooth before being dipped.

For the price range that FickenJag will be offering, Id rather have real CF and a functional improvement (actual venting). I hope he moves that project along sometime soon.
