1. Gently insert a flathead screw driver between blue and yellow bits on this pic.
2. Then lift on the yellow piece to pivot it up (1)
3. Push the blade toward the wiper arm and lift up on the wiper arm (2).

Yep, a few months ago I couldn't figure out how to do it so I asked the "service advisor" at the local JLR dealership and he showed me exactly as explained above. I got home, tried it and it works, takes 30 seconds to renew the wiper blade.
Thanx - but moreover, where did you get that picture? I hope you found a repair manual for F-Types... I found one that is on-line by Mitchell - but you have to pay a yearly fee. I'm trying to find something like a Haynes or Chilton book.

There was a provider that would take out a topix subscription and compile the entirety of the shop instructions relevant to a specific VIN into a single pdf that is extremely well indexed. In my case, it was about 14,000 pages. Unfortunately, that provider gave up on doing the Jags, probably because of the enormity of the compilation task. If you wanted to, you could take out a 1 week or 1 month subscription to download all the documents from topix, and then compile the sections (or not) at your leisure.
The Mitchell site is like what you are describing. I did take out a subscription and have downloaded hundreds of pages so far. The problem is it goes deeply into repair and maintenance - I could rebuild the engine with this info. But it doesn't show things like how to replace headlights, replace wipers, replace air filters, etc.
Chilton or Haynes offer books for cars like a 1965 Gogomobile but don't offer books for Jags - I guess they're to sophisticated for them.

Appreciate the info. I bought some wipers at Costco today, "Michelin" ("...all i know is it's French"). They fit fine, we'll see how they last, they fit and went on easily, "clicked" in place.

I got some Michelin Cyclone wipers for the winter. They work great. They're covered so snow can't jam them up.

Thanks, That's good to read. i was at Costco and bought them on a whim because i needed them. They were only $8.99 each. These are "Guardian All Season." (i had no idea they are now season rating wind shield wiper blades).
