Winter wheel question!
I purchased a set of winters and decided I better test fit them before the snow comes. Stock summers are 295/30/20 and 255/35/20. The winters are 275/35/19 and 245/40/19 - they fit well in terms of offset and clearing the brakes. However, I did notice in the rear that the gap between the top of the tire and fender is larger than expected. I'm not sure if that's because it was just a test fit on one said of the car? The other side still had the summers on and I lowered the car to see if things were ok.
I've seen other F-Type's that have stock 19s in the same sizes as above and they seem to fit fine. Is it because I had the stock summers on the other side and didn't move the car to settle things?

Interestingly, the winters are -1% vs the summers in overall diameter. I would have preferred them slightly larger but these were the best fit. When I compare the wheels side by side, the difference isn't much. However, when they go on the car, the gap in the rear is significantly larger. It must be as you say that the suspension hadn't settled and the other side had the summer on.
Hoping the F-Type is decent in winter!
