Default Wireless CarPlay Adapter

I got an adapter for my (MY17) F-Pace that allows CarPlay to engage wirelessly. My F-Type is too old to support CarPlay, but I figured those in the ICTP era might be interested. There are a number of similar adapters out there, but I had heard various complaints. This one seems to work well. After a brief setup, my iPhone connects automatically to the module via Bluetooth when I drive, and flips back to the house system when I return. $37 at Amazon.

It's never too late to change that.
I've had the CarPlay module installed for a few weeks now and I don't regret it a single day.

Does this unit drive the display as well or is it just a better audio implementation than the OEM bluetooth connection?

It drives the display - but only if you're car is CarPlay capable. It simply eliminates having to connect by wire.

Are you still pleased with it, now that you've had it a while? It looks line one of the few, that has very positive ratings on Amazon?

I use the Linkifun GT6 Pro and it works extremely well with its wireless CarPlay. Calls sound good and you get to have Torque Pro and any other Android program you want running on your screen (no restrictions like with CarPlay and Android Auto). The audio quality was especially surprising. If you want both wireless CarPlay and an Android tablet on your JLR screen this gets my recommendation.
