Initially wanted to do matte black or gray, but was advised that matte is a little high maintenance and can absorb lots of dirt and what not, was advised to go satin.
I like it, but still might do matte in the future after it’s time for this wrap to go. Has anyone had a matte wrap? Is it problematic?

Looks incredible! How much does it cost, approximately, to wrap the whole car?
I paid 1600.00 for mine, I've been told this is on the low side. I live in flyover country though. I also have a glass roof and didn't do underhood or door jambs.
So does MA; happily, no one has cared in the almost 9 years I've run without a front plate. I attach it for annual state inspections (via a tow-hook mount), then remove it. Some states are more particular, however.
Nice, that looks really good. It took me weeks and lots of samples to decide on the color and finish.
I haven't had any problems with my Matte finish, I did have it ceramic coated after the wrap.
I would be really curious to know how the wrap holds up and the overall cost between the wrap and ceramic coating. I had mine covered almost entirely in Xpel, then paint correction and ceramic coated which ran about $4-$5k. I think that is about all I could justify for a cost to protect the car. I have "heard" the wrap is good only for a few years but wouldn't think that could be accurate. I had just PPF installed on almost all my cars for the front end and they still looked decent 5-6 years later. And really interested as I was wavering if I would wrap the car over PPF.

I lived in IL for about 30 years and for me it was a matter of where I drove and essentially how picky the cops are in that area. Some areas I had issues, others I didn't.
Gorgeous. Love the choice of Satin. In NY they "require" a front plate too. I've had two F Types since 2017. Never a front plate. I was stopped once for speeding and the officer actually only gave me a warning for not having a front plate. State Troopers/Police in NY at least seem to leave cool cars without front plates alone. Perhaps Illinois is the same?
The wrap and the ceramic coat was $3,500, I've had the wrap for a year and its holding up fine and I've driven the car through the PA winter. The car is garage kept and not doubt the elements whether that be summer or winter would have an effect on durability.
My motivation for the wrap was colour change and not protection, the car is black and I wanted something that stood out even more so choice matte gray aluminium -- I also added carbon fiber hood and side vents. I have a red / black interior which in my opinion does limit some colour choices.
I ordered about 30 samples from Metro Restyling that helped with the final choice, I really like the look I have now but when this is due for a change I'll do something completely different.
Get rid of the front plate. A beautiful woman should not be wearing a mask.
Believe me, SS, I'm with ya.
As the others in here noted, IL requires front plates, like many places, but depending on where you are, Po-Po may or may not simply warn you.
I am deliberating taking it off and simply paying any tickets I get over it. I can also always just throw the plate up on the Dash if I'm going to be worried about it.
I am in IL too. I guess I am a rebel I have paid ~$1200 in no front plat fees, but I say f' em. Not putting plates on my nicer rides. I do have one on my Sahara Unlimited (soon to be my 15 YO son's) and my Wife's Cayenne S, since she has threatened me if she gets stopped, what will happen. You will note a theme on my rides...Haha
I think there are about 38 states that do not require front plates...So I wonder why these yahoos need them...Perhaps when they are chasing me in reverse??
sto n sho front plate removable holder solved the issue; about $100
Yes..agree. Had the electric, remote control version on the 997 Turbo. They are only rated at 120 mph in the down position...then they come apart. Ask me how I know
