Your letter of resignation is not accepted. Back on the line!

Don’t let that stop you. None of the AT vs MT comments were particularly useful. Sooo.. let’s talk about attention deficit.

“Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in”. OK Nati...if you say so.

I’ll simply add that if I had thought my opinions about those first months of ownership actually meant something to the manufacturer in the real world - beyond a ranking system - I might have filled those out. I just didn’t think my filling them out amounted to anything. I also didn’t feel the love other manufacturers extended to their customer base; of which I have a fair amount of experience. (On the other hand, and based on my glowing experience with my dealer, I made certain to write extremely positive reviews here and there. Simply and only due to the fact that they deserved it).

I think a previous post hit it closer to the nail in that the more upscale brands tend to have people with greater expectations and/or just more of a PITA. Granted, at this price point one should expect a certain, if not high, level of satisfaction. And based on a simple sampling even just from this Forum, that seems to vary greatly (although I generally consider those here on the Forum as, mostly, satisfied).

Count me among those extremely satisfied. With both my car - from the beginning - and my dealer.

As some of you know, I sold my F type last week but I had zero issues with it in the three years I owned it and never paid a thing for any repairs beyond the yearly oil change. I'd take these kinds of reports with a grain of salt for reasons mentioned previously.
