Default Rear Valance part #

Anyone know the part # for the gloss black rear valance on a 2016 v6 without parking sensors? Thought it was T2R17428 but that one has larger openings for the fog/reverse lights than I have. Mine is matte black and I want to change it to gloss. Thanks for any help.

Have you thought about removing your part and having it painted. I just did it to the lower defuser on my car as the part alone is $1,600.00.

Yes, i’m starting to think either having it wrapped or painted is probably going to be the easier way.

As far as I know the US versions of this part all came with the small/narrow fog/reverse lights (the "two in one" set up) so I suspect part # T2R17428 is what you are after and it's just that the diagram shows the larger openings in error.
For example see here: https://parts.jaguarreno.com/oem-par...Y2LWdhcw%3D%3D

The linked part is only $303.75 US so probably cheaper than getting your existing valance painted or wrapped, maybe worth contacting Reno Jag to see if it has the narrow or the wide light openings.

Those online catalogue diagrams are frequently to scale or or even to shape. If the year, model and description is right, the part will be right.

I'd buy a new piece for $300. Wrapping give it an ugly orange peel texture and painting will most likely cost a min of $200 and will no doubt have imperfections.

I did order T2R17428 in hopes of avoiding the above mentioned issues with wrapping/painting. It arrived yesterday and has the large openings for the lights. Im trying to arrange an exchange but am not sure what the correct part is. Im hoping to hear from the parts dept today but i was hoping someone might know the part number so I can make sure i get it right this time.

Bad news: Looking at the parts explosion, the fog light part numbers for the satin are different than those for the gloss valence. You will need to paint or wrap since those lights are $250 each.

On another thread I found someone suggested part # T2R17435, but when I look that up I see no description or picture. Anyone know which one that is?

I saw that. Was considering upgrading the fog lights but not for 500 bucks.

This link piqued my curiosity regarding fog lights so I checked mine out. They occupy the same unit as the backup lights--I did not know that. Very clever these Brits.

So, in case anyone else is wondering T2R17435 is the part number for gloss black rear valance panel with the small fog/reverse light openings for V6 cars without parking sensors.
