Is anyone familiar with the Autel MaxiDAS DS708 Automotive Diagnostic & Analysis System? This may be the most capable and versatile diagnostic and repair tool I've ever seen available for purchase by the average DIY guy. It can even program key fobs. I know it's expensive (about $1,100) but it may be well worth the money if you're in it for the long haul with Jaguars, Range Rovers, Mercedes, Audis, and other not-so-owner-friendly vehicles....

 

Jon, if you look on e-bay, you can get the price down to around $900 if you are looking at that unit. Seems like an interesting unit.

 

Hi, Jon, you are right! I know this tool from my friend, he has bought one from a online shop named Careucar, he tell me it work very well still now. it's the original one, they also supply one year free update. So I got one too!
