Default BCM Numbers

I have a 2000 XJ8.
I need to get a new Body Control Module but I need the numbers so that the replacement can be programmed. Where do I find the numbers...seems they are on a white notice somewhere in the boot but I cant find it

Thanks

Laurie

Welcome to the forums Laurie,

This is a forum. There is no need for eMail addresses or phone numbers which I have removed. Members can simply reply to your post.

What you are looking for is known as the VCATS label which lists the modules. Here's an example from my 2000 XJ8:

You will need to first remove the trim over the spare wheel to be able to loosen the right hand side trim to find it.
