Car vibrating over 40 miles an hour

Default Car vibrating over 40 miles an hour

Car vibrating from prop shaft around 40 miles an hour.
hi wonder if anybody could help. We have had the seals replaced on the differential, on my fathers Jaguar XJ sovereign V6 2008.
The mechanic has refitted the differential and when test driving it there seems to be a vibration around 40 miles an hour. He has re-loosen the prop shaft and then re-tightened them but this still seems to are to make no difference.. Wondered if anybody could help with this question. Is it the

“refitted the differential”. That may be the issue, right there. OEM seals and bearings used? New bolts and bushings?

Mill, this is a common issue with the X-Types. We have found that if you put some termaline grease into the prop shaft bearing, it will cut down on the noise and shaking. ubt, in the end, you are going to need a new prop shaft bearing.
