I have a code p1441 on my 95 xj12, I changed the "b" bank purge valve as this is what the fault calls out. I have an innova 3120...and its not clearing the check engine light however, my idle is restored back to smooth and 700rpm's. Did I miss something?

 

95xj12, give the car a few more starts followed by a complete drive cycle after each start and the light should go out. It takes a total of 5 drive cycles (motor must turn atleast 10,000 revolutions and get up to temp) without the code reappearing for the check engine light to go out. The light will clear on the 6th start provided the fault has not come in at any point during the 5 drive cycles. If it does, then the clock resets and you have to go 5 cycles from that point.
