Dead Battery, Trunk Lock, & no Emergency Key - Please Help
Hey Guys,
I have a 2013 Jaguar XF (wife's car). The other day I was having Key Fob and car battery (not fob battery) issues. Drove my wife's car all week because she got a message low battery charge. I went out to start the car and nothing would work with the FOB key (no doors, lights, nothing) door was unlock so I got in, put foot on brake, and pressed start/ I received a message, Cannot find smart key. Then a reposition smart key to start. Well, I did what manual said and car started, so I figured battery was too low to detect FOB. Took battery out and took it to auto parts store, sure enough battery was bad. Bought new battery and when I got home, realized I shut trunk and now it is locked. I lost my emergency keys so I cannot open trunk manual. Any idea what I can do? any help would be appreciated and sorry for the long post.
