Welcome to the forum Mick,
So we can safely assume it's not off your1977 XJ6! Any manufacturer name or code numbers on it?

My memory, HAHAHA, is XJ-s, from about 1976 to 1987ish.
Although it does look purely aftermarket, that really will fit any car, and it looks "Semi Automatic" to me, as versus the "full automatic" on the XJ-S.
The S2 and S3 cars had that "wonderful" remote motor antenna.

Without ALL the numbers and details it will be messy.
Most of them I have seen over the years are Harada brand, and parts for them are awkward now at best.
Depending on the model car you wish to fit it to, other options may/will be easier.
Sooo, what we are saying, is give us some details, PLEASE, then we can advise a lot better.
