my XKR Jaguar x100 suddenly lost oil from the engine when an oil hose burst. Delayed pullover being on motor way but then stopped after about 2km into a turn off. Engine lost most/all oil due to a burst hose while driving and running without oil can cause bearing damage, camshaft/lifter wear, and piston/cylinder scoring.
Engine noises after refill and restart - could indicate internal damage and likely damage are Rod/main bearings, cam lobes, lifters, or pistons may be affected.
Check oil pressure
Listen for knocks/ticking.
Perform compression/leak-down test.
