I have a 2016 F type, and the FOB works perfectly for unlocking the door and opening the hatch. I can stand across the parking lot and everything works. However, when I get in the car, I have to hold the fob right next to the spot under the headlight controls for when the battery is dead to start the car. It has a brand new battery in it. I checked the voltage and it is fine. Any ideas? Everything I've read that discusses similar problems has all of the functions not working, but the lock/unlock, hatch open, and panic buttons work exactly as they should. Thanks.
