Browsing e-bay.. as you do.. I came across an ad for fram oil filters for jaguar cars.. When I had my Rover (Vitesse 2l turbo), on the Rover forum there were frequent posts about 'problems and engine failures caused by blocked oil filters.' Without exception these were always fram paper filters.

Don't know whether these have ever caused problems with Jaguar or other marques, or whether Fram have improved their filters...just thought I'd flag it up.

Why even chance it?..I've been changing my oil for over 35 years..and I've heard and experienced problems like you said with Fram..get a WIX, Mann, or K&N..Anything but Fram..

 

x1000 for avoiding fram, if you put one on a land rover all of the sudden you have oil pressure problems take it off and your oil pressure is fine.
