Default GPS Tracker

Hello,

I have a 2011 Jag XF basic model (not super charge) leasing it from a U.S. dealer. I'm interested in seeing how i can track the car location and the speed. I know there are tracking systems that can be placed in the car but I'd like to knw if anyone recommends a particular brand. I just want easy access to the tracking either online or by phone. The dealership said they do not install them and there's no way to use use the current factory GPS.

thx

Most I know of are so expensive, it's easier to just buy an Android or iPhone (3GS are cheap these days) an use an app.

I had a tracker from foxtraxgps.com installed in one of my cars for a while. There wasn't a good mobile interface for it and the online interface wasn't the greatest but it did work. Just hook up the tracker to the always on circuit in your car, hide it under the dash and you're game (any mechanic should be able to do this for you if you don't know how). The system overall seemed very reliable. I went with foxtrax because it was only like $20 a month.
