Help needed with Jaguar 2005 4.2 v8 s type
Hi I am trying to replace the thermostat housing but I unable to open this bolt what tool may I need to open this bolt and what bolt is this? I need to buy another one of these bolts but can not find it online. Thank you you taking the time to read my post

Those are very common and are Torx bolts. Get a set of sockets as you will be using them again and again. Cheap and easy to get.
Sad to see the slathered RTV too as you will need to remove all of it. Hopefully there are no other hack repairs on your car.
When posting put where you at because this is mainly a US forum so we don't get the same stuff as other markets do.
