Default Need help removing 4.2 Supercharger Please. Cant find a way to unbolt rear bolt

Hello all! Ive searched all over, purchased a Jaguar manual and simply cant find a single post to help me.

I have a 2009 XF 4.2 supercharged. The supercharger is grinding and I purchased a replacement used one, but cant figure out a way to remove the rear bolt that holds down the supercharger.
There is an elbow that is on top of it that is held on by 4 bolts, but as far as I can tell, there is no way to remove the two lower bolts with everything being in the way. The bolt that is holding the supercharger down is directly underneath it and cant even be seen unless this elbow is removed.
Attaching a picture to show the bolt that I need help unbolting. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I know i have read threads about this bolt and the way guys removed it on this forum. Have you tried a search of supercharger removal. I remember a couple guys making a special wrench and on install using studs for the hidden bolt holes

yes I searched the forums in many different ways and many different keywords. I’ve found a couple of threads for the 5.0 removal, but it’s completely different. I haven’t found anything about the 4.2 removal anywhere on the internet. If you say you’ve seen threads explaining this, I will keep searching and hopefully find it. Thanks!

Do a search in the S-Type forum, there is a long detailed thread about removing the supercharger from an S-Type R, basically the same arrangement as the XF SV8 with the 4.2

The only way to get to this bolt is to remove egr valve and from there you can reach bolt with a short 10 mm ratchet spanner. There also 2 bolts side mounted under side of the elbow. A little tip once you get it off is cut out slot in said bolt hole. Helps for putting back in. Hope this helps..

Yes take Brutal's good suggestion and be SURE to slot that back bolt hole.
I learned my lesson and removed the SC twice on my old 2005 STR.

The second time I DID slot that hole.

Here is my thread if it will help?
