How to write a value using OBD2 bus into an ECU
Hi,
I have scanned quite extensively the OBD2 bus and discovered a few ECU. I have also identified a few PID on those ECU. Now it is time to write value into those PID, and see if I can act on the car (power on the car, lock on and off door, open/close windows, etc...) to start with. I have access to the proximity sensors, the throttle position, and gear shift, so maybe that will be possible to recreate a "summon" mode. Since the vaste majority of the PID are non standard EPA PID, I need to query them with the 0x22 mode. I am struggling with the write mode. How can I write a value to a PID. I've read that the 0x2E mode is use to write, but I have an error on the bus with this mode. Does anyone successfully wrote a value in a PID on the CAN bus ?
