Locked out of SDD

Default Locked out of SDD
I think when my computer guy was getting the software up and running it may have connected to the Net? After a few months some how it started giving me a count down in order for me to renew the subscription, how it has locked me out of SDD, IDS still works. Any quick fix or maybe I have to reinstall the software?

Change the date on the laptop to the day after the last update was installed.
