I am a DIYer, and I will be using the VCM on my X300. I don't care if it is somewhat lower quality and won't last long in a shop environment. I am planning to use it a few times a year, if even that.

Can somebody recommend a reliable vendor, or at least one with decent return policy? I want VCM I, not VCM II because that's the one that works with old versions of IDS.

Ideally I would buy a used/remanufacured genuine rotunda/Ford unit, but I will settle for a clone that's an exact replica of the original and works well. Advice and pointers would be greatly appreciated, feel free to PM if you want.
